In unserer Datenschutzerklärung erfahren Sie, welche personenbezogenen Daten wir erheben, wie wir sie verwenden und welche Rechte Ihnen zustehen.
The protection of your data is important to us – we handle your information responsibly and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations.
§ 1
Information on the collection of personal data
(1) Below, we provide information on the collection of personal data when you use our website. Personal data refers to any data that can be linked to you personally, e.g. your name, address, email addresses and user behaviour.
(2) The data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Skyturk Medical GmbH, Wurzerstrasse 11, 80539 Munich
(siehe unser Impressum).
(3) When you contact us by email or via a contact form, we will store the data you provide (your email address and, where applicable, your name and telephone number) in order to answer your enquiries. We will delete the data collected in this context once storage is no longer necessary, or restrict its processing if statutory retention obligations apply.
(4) Should we use third-party service providers for specific functions of our service or wish to use your data for marketing purposes, we will provide you with detailed information below regarding the relevant processes. We will also specify the criteria governing the retention period.
§ 2
Your rights
(1) You have the following rights in relation to us concerning your personal data:
– Right of access;
– Right to rectification or erasure;
– Right to restriction of processing;
– Right to object to processing;
– Right to data portability.
(2) You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.
§ 3
Collection of personal data when visiting our website
(1) When you use the website purely for information purposes – that is, when you do not provide us with any information – we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security (the legal basis is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR):
– IP address;
– Date and time of the enquiry;
– Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT);
– Content of the request (specific page);
– Zugriffsstatus/HTTP-Statuscode;
– the amount of data transferred in each instance;
– the website from which the request originates;
– Browser;
– Operating system and its user interface;
– Language and version of the browser software.
(2) In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and associated with the browser you are using, and through which certain information is transmitted to the party setting the cookie (in this case, us). Cookies cannot run programmes or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.
(3) Use of cookies:
a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functioning of which are explained below:
– transient cookies (see point (b) below);
– Persistent cookies (see point (c) below).
b) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. These store a so-called ‘session ID’, which allows various requests from your browser to be associated with the same session. This enables your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies at any time via your browser’s security settings.
d) You can configure your browser settings as you wish and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may then be unable to use all the features of this website.
e) The Flash cookies used are not tracked by your browser, but by your Flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your device. These objects store the necessary data regardless of which browser you use and do not have an automatic expiry date. If you do not wish Flash cookies to be processed, you must install a suitable add-on, e.g. ‘Better Privacy’ for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe Flash Killer Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by using private browsing mode in your browser. We also recommend that you regularly delete your cookies and browser history manually.
§ 4
Further features and services on our website
(1) In addition to the purely informational use of our website, we offer various services which you may use if you are interested. To do so, you will generally need to provide further personal data, which we use to provide the relevant service and to which the aforementioned data processing principles apply.
(2) In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly monitored.
(3) Furthermore, we may pass on your personal data to third parties if we offer promotional activities, competitions, contracts or similar services in collaboration with partners. You can find further information when you provide your personal data or in the description of the offer below.
(4) Where our service providers or partners are based in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the implications of this in the description of the service.
§ 5
Objection to or withdrawal of consent regarding the processing of your data
(1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you may withdraw it at any time. Such a withdrawal will affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data from the time you notify us of it.
(2) Where we base the processing of your personal data on a balancing of interests, you may object to such processing. This is the case, in particular, where the processing is not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, as we will explain in each instance in the following description of the functions. Should you exercise such an objection, we ask that you set out the reasons why we should not process your personal data in the manner described. In the event of a justified objection, we will review the circumstances and either cease or adjust the data processing, or explain to you our compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.
(3) You may, of course, object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of marketing and data analysis. You can inform us of your objection to marketing using the following contact details:

§ 6
Use of Google Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and internet usage.
(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with any other data held by Google.
(3) You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the settings in your browser software; however, please note that, in this case, you may not be able to make full use of all the features of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
(4) This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. This ensures that IP addresses are truncated during processing, thereby ruling out any possibility of personal identification. Where the data collected about you is personally identifiable, such identification is therefore immediately ruled out and the personal data is deleted without delay.
(5) We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our website and make it more interesting for you as a user. In the exceptional cases where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has opted into the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
(6) Information from the third-party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Fax: +353 (1) 436 1001. Terms of use: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html, privacy overview: http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html, and the privacy policy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
§ 7
Integration of Google Maps
(1) We use Google Maps on this website. This enables us to display interactive maps directly on the website and allows you to use the map function with ease.
(2) When you visit the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the relevant page of our website. In addition, the data specified in § 3 of this policy is transmitted. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in, or whether no such user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before clicking the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or tailoring its website to users’ needs. Such analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to deliver personalised advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google.
(3) Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be found in the provider’s privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and the settings available to protect your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has opted into the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
§ 8
Use of Facebook Pixels (Facebook Custom Audiences)
(1) Furthermore, the website uses the so-called “Facebook Pixel” provided by Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). This enables interest-based advertisements (“Facebook Ads”) to be displayed to users of the website when they visit the Facebook social network or other websites that also use this technology. Our aim is to show you adverts that are of interest to you, in order to make our website more engaging for you.
(3) The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR.
(4) Further information on data processing by Facebook is available at https://de-de.facebook.com/business/learn/facebook-ads-pixel.
§ 9
Transfer of personal data to a third country outside the EU
(1) This website uses, amongst other things, the Facebook Pixels service, as well as Google Maps and Google Analytics. As part of this use, it may therefore be necessary to transfer personal data to companies based in third countries outside the EU, in particular to the USA.
(2) In some cases, there may be no adequacy decision by the European Commission in respect of these third countries within the meaning of Article 45(1) and (3) of the GDPR. This means that, in these countries, a level of data protection equivalent to that of the EU may not be guaranteed. Even with other suitable safeguards (e.g. through encryption or anonymisation) or standard contractual clauses with service providers based in third countries, a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU may not be guaranteed in certain circumstances. This applies in particular to the USA, following the European Court of Justice’s ruling of 16 July 2020 (the so-called Schrems II ruling), in which the EU-US Privacy Shield was declared invalid.
(3) In this context, the following risks arise, which cannot currently be ruled out:
– Your personal data may be disclosed to other third parties who may use your data for purposes other than the original one;
– You may not be able to effectively exercise or enforce your rights to access data vis-à-vis the third party or the service provider based outside the EU;
– There may be a higher likelihood of data being processed incorrectly, as the technical and organisational measures put in place by the service provider, which is based outside the EU, to protect personal data do not fully meet the requirements of the GDPR, either in terms of quantity or quality.
(4) If you have consented to the use of the services referred to in paragraph (1) above and, consequently, to the transfer of personal data to third countries outside the EU, the transfer of the data is based on Article 49(1)(a) of the GDPR. You may also withdraw this consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its withdrawal.
